Parrots can imitate the sound of the human voice because they have tongues which
are similar to humans. Cockatoos and rooks have the same ability.
Of course, the sounds the birds make are not really like speaking as they are
just imitating noises and not communicating information, and they usually have a
very limited vocabulary. Human speech cannot be reproduced unless there is a
higher level of intelligence.
