Wendell Meredith Stanley(1904-1971)
Born on August 16, 1904 in Indiana. In 1929 he graduated in medicine from Illinois University. He researched on tobacco mosaic viruses which destroys tobacco plants and found out virus crystals and their qualities. He also discovered some other viruses that cause diseases to other plants. He was awarded the Nobel prize in 1946. Died at Spain on 1971.
