Sigmond Froyd(1856-1939)
An Austrian Physician born on My 16, 1856. He is best known for his work in the study of the unconscious mind and the use of clinical observations in treating mental diseases and disorders. He studied from his experience that hypnotism is useful to treat hysteric patients and he used hypnotism in his own medical practise. He also used interpretation of dreams which is of fundamental importance is psychiatry. He published his book 'the interpretation of dreams' in 1900, which made him world famous.
