Louis Victor De Broglie(1892-1987)
A French physicist. He demonstrated the wave particle theory experimentally, that the electrons have some of the properties of waves, such as diffraction and measurable wave length. This theory became the basis of the branch of quantum mechanics known as wave mechanics. In 1929 he received the Nobel prize for physics.
