John Dalton(1776-1844)
The British chemist who was one of the founders of modern atomic theory. He proposed the theory that each chemical elements is made up of atoms of identical atomic weight. He compiled the first table of atomic weight based on hydrogen. he also studied about other gases. His research on color blindness. was significant and is therefore sometimes referred to as 'Daltonism'.
