An American Biologist who worked on the structure of DNA along with the
English biologist Francis crick (1916-) Watson shared the Nobel prize with
Crick in 1962. Later he made X-ray diffraction studies RNA, in collaboration
with Alexander Rich. Study of the RNA and protein synthesis are also of
great interest to Watson. He has submitted several papers on the general
principles of virus construction. His research adds to our understanding of
the behaviour of genes that causes hereditary diseases
