Henri Becquerel(1852-1908)
A French Physicist who was one of the first nuclear scientist. He discovered the phenomenon of the radioactivity in Uranium. An interest in photography helped him to discover the link between radioactivity, light and magnetism. He also performed important research on the absorption of light and the phenomenon of phosphorescence.
