Dmitry Mendeleyev(1834-1907)
The Russian chemist, regarded asthe father of the periodic table of chemical elements. He discovered that all the elements showed a regular repetition of properties when arranged in a certain order. One of the elements is named after him as 'Mendelevium'. He also experimented with agricultural production based on scientific principles.
