Antonie
Lavoisier(1743-1794)

The French chemist who is regarded as the father of modern chemistry. He
named both Oxygen and hydrogen and explained Oxygen's role in combustion. He
also described elements and compounds and named many of them. He worked on
gunpowder also with his wife Marie who has also a scientist, he produced
some important manuals for scientific experiments.
